The Lyriq-V is Cadillac’s first high-performance electric vehicle, designed to compete with models like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, Mercedes-AMG EQE 53, and the Porsche Macan electric.
Equipped with two motors for all-wheel drive, it delivers an impressive 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. According to Cadillac, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, outperforming powerful models like the CT5-V Blackwing and the Escalade-V.
Based on the Ultium platform, used in other GM electric vehicles, the Lyriq-V features a 102 kWh battery that allows for a 0-80% charge in just 41 minutes. In addition to its power, the model comes with advanced features such as launch control, a competitive track mode, Brembo brakes, and the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving technology. It also features exclusive sound for EVs and a sporty design, including 22-inch wheels and lowered suspension.
The Lyriq-V will be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand for $79,990, with plans to expand to other global markets, including Europe.
This launch reflects Cadillac’s strategy to expand its international presence with electric models like the standard Lyriq and the Optiq SUV.
