The BMW presented the impressive i5 Flow Nostokana, a beautiful fusion of the brand’s innovative technology with art and creativity.

This vehicle, presented at Freize Los Angeles, combines the creativity of South African artist Esther Mahlangu with Munich’s cutting-edge technology, using the new i5 as a blank canvas.

The design, inspired by Mahlangu’s previous art car, incorporates color-changing technology on large areas, with around 1349 separate pieces working together to bring the artwork to life.

Additionally, BMW’s Creative Sound Director, Renzo Vitale, contributed to the artistic experience by creating audio and animations using the artist’s voice and brushes. These sounds were integrated into the i5’s touchscreen sound feedback.

The Head of Design at the BMW Group, Adrian van Hooydonk, highlighted how this fusion of art and technology transforms the vehicle into a moving work of art, providing a new experience for the audience.
