BMW has updated its iX electric SUV with a more aggressive design, increased power, and extended range, bringing it closer to the future Neue Klasse design language.
The lineup now features three new models: xDrive45, xDrive60 M Sport, and M70 xDrive, along with new trim options. The updates include a redesigned headlight shape and an optional illuminated grille, which comes standard on the M70 xDrive.
The iX now comes with larger batteries, with the xDrive45 increasing to 94.8 kWh, while the xDrive60 and M70 xDrive feature 109 kWh batteries. This results in an improved WLTP range: the xDrive45 reaches 602 km, the xDrive60 goes up to 685 km, and the M70 achieves 589 km. Power has also been enhanced, with the xDrive45 delivering 414 hp, the xDrive60 reaching 552 hp, and the M70 pushing up to 668 hp, enabling faster acceleration and a higher top speed.
In addition to the performance and range improvements, the M70 includes features such as a tuned suspension, rear-wheel steering, and anti-roll bars. All models come with Hill Descent Control and Dynamic Stability Control.
The iX is now available in seven new colors and with 21-, 22-, or 23-inch wheel options, depending on the chosen trim.
