Based on the same platform as the Neue Klasse sedan, the Neue Klasse X promises an overall efficiency 25% greater and a 30% increase in autonomy. Set to begin production in 2025, in Hungary, the SUV reflects a less bold approach compared to BMW’s recent SUV models, aiming for a more balanced and sustainable look.
The technology behind the Neue Klasse X is impressive, with highlights including the new electric motors and advanced electronic architecture, controlled by four “super brains.” This innovation promises not only to increase autonomy but also to improve vehicle response and efficiency, with full-specification M variants expected to develop around 1000hp.
Furthermore, the interior of the Neue Klasse X reflects a more simplified approach, with fewer buttons and more touch and voice control. Innovations such as the 3D head-up display and the Panoramic Vision Display promise a fast and highly customizable infotainment experience. Although BMW has not officially confirmed, it is expected that the Neue Klasse X will succeed the iX3, representing a significant shift in the company’s direction towards electrification.
