However, the main distinction of the convertible is that it is the last car to be equipped with the iconic 6.0-liter W12 engine, an engine that has become a symbol of Bentley since its introduction on the Continental GT in 2003.
The Batur Convertible sports a more powerful version of the W12, with 740 horsepower, 40% more than the previous version, and an impressive torque of 1,001 Nm. This power enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 336 km/h.
The car also features a completely customized design, created by Mulliner, which reflects the tradition of Bentley’s old handmade convertibles. The hood line is more sloped, the grille is shallower, and the rear is more angular, with an integrated spoiler on the trunk lid.
Inside, the Batur Convertible stands out for its luxury and comfort, with rose gold 3D-printed around the driving mode selector. Additionally, the fabric roof can be raised or lowered in 19 seconds at speeds of up to 48 km/h.
Only 16 of these models will be built, each highly customizable by buyers with the help of Mulliner’s design team. The base price of the Coupé is over $2 million, not including customization options.
