A Belarusian drone used to smuggle cigarettes was found last Wednesday (5) in a forested area near the town of Krynki, close to the Poland-Belarus border.

According to the Polish Border Guard, a local resident reported the presence of the suspicious aircraft. During inspection of the drone, agents found about 400 packs of cigarettes with Belarusian tax stamps inside.

The drone was likely used to smuggle tobacco products across the border. According to the Polish border guard, this is the eighteenth case of a smuggling drone recorded in the Podlaskie Voivodeship since the beginning of the year.
