The twin-engine AH1Z is an advanced upgrade from the AH-1W with longer stub-wing and improved sensor/weapon systems like a 20mm cannon.

Key upgrades include wingtip missile stations and Longbow radar integration, enhancing air-to-air combat and ground attack capabilities.
The induction marks a significant capability increase for Bahrain’s air power, building up an attack force for deterrence.

Despite their small size, the AH-1Zs join the legacy AH-1F models of the RBAF, giving #Bahrain one of the largest Cobra fleets in the world.
