BAE Systems unveils mysterious drone at Riyadh World Defense Show

The BAE Systems, the largest defense company in the UK, revealed a model of its mysterious Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) at the Riyadh World Defense Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The company showcased its new drone concept for the first time. The design of this new aerial platform is shrouded in mystery.

Details about the new UAS were not disclosed, with neither its name nor specific features revealed. However, BAE Systems confirmed that the aircraft is a medium-sized UAS intended to complement existing forces in attack, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and air control.


The UAS features a unique design characterized by a single jet engine and a diamond-shaped delta wing. The rear fuselage incorporates sloped vertical tails, with the engine exhaust positioned deeply between them.
