Audi has officially unveiled the new generation of the A6 Allroad, the adventurous version of the A6 Avant wagon that combines SUV characteristics with the driving dynamics of a traditional station wagon.
According to information from Motor1, the model enters its fifth generation with a wider body, increased ground clearance, and new electrified powertrain options.

Visually, the new A6 Allroad features wider fenders, unique exterior protective elements, wheels up to 21 inches, and a body that is approximately 11 centimeters wider than the standard A6 Avant. Audi says the goal was to strengthen the model’s rugged presence without sacrificing comfort and versatility.
Among the highlights is the arrival of the first plug-in hybrid version in the history of the A6 Allroad. In addition, the lineup will include a 299-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine equipped with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.

The model is built on the PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) architecture and comes standard with adaptive air suspension. The system allows the ride height to vary by up to 55 mm and includes dedicated off-road modes. Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system is also standard equipment.

Inside, the wagon adopts Audi’s latest technological design language, featuring an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a curved 14.5-inch infotainment display, and the option of a third screen dedicated to the front passenger. The system runs on Android Automotive and offers integration with artificial intelligence features and ChatGPT.
The launch comes at a time when station wagons face strong competition from SUVs. Despite this, Audi has chosen to keep the Allroad lineup alive, targeting consumers who seek greater interior space and driving characteristics closer to those of a traditional passenger car.
