Aston Martin Vanquish Volante 2026: new 824 hp V-12 convertible combines luxury and performance (Instagram @astonmartin)
Aston Martin has unveiled the Vanquish Volante 2026, the convertible version of its iconic V-12 grand tourer.
Retaining the same 5.2-liter twin-turbo V-12 engine as the coupe, this model delivers 824 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Despite a 95 kg weight increase, it maintains impressive performance, reaching 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 344 km/h, the same as the coupe.
To compensate for the lack of a roof, Aston Martin has reinforced the chassis and adjusted the suspension to ensure rigidity similar to the closed version. Additionally, the car comes equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes, 21-inch Pirelli P Zero tires, and Bilstein DTX dampers specifically tuned for the Volante.
The interior remains luxurious, featuring two 10.25-inch digital displays and an exclusive button to operate the K-fold fabric roof, which can be retracted in 14 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
The brand claims that the Vanquish Volante represents the evolution of luxury sports convertibles, offering power and elegance without compromising performance.
The price has not been disclosed but is expected to exceed the coupe’s $434,000. Production will begin in the third quarter of 2025, with fewer than a thousand units produced annually.
