ARX Robotics has launched Hector, a new ground robotic system capable of operating with a crew or fully remotely.
The platform is designed to enhance the speed and efficiency of European ground forces in combat, logistics, and reconnaissance missions.
Based on the “optionally crewed” concept, Hector can be driven to the operational area with a crew on board and then switch to teleoperated or autonomous modes. The company states that using Mithra OS allows rapid updates and scalable integration into mixed fleets while maintaining operational safety and stability.
The model is produced at scale and has two engine versions: a combustion version that reaches up to 120 km/h with a range of 350 km, and an electric version with low acoustic and thermal signatures, ideal for stealth operations.
The platform can carry various modules, adapting to different military scenarios.
