LEO Flight, an American company based in Indiana, has begun pre-orders for the Solo, its flying motorcycle equipped with dozens of electric microjets.
According to the website New Atlas, the flying motorcycle is being advertised as a single-seat personal eVTOL compliant with Part 103, meaning the owner does not need a pilot’s license to fly it.
As a wingless VTOL, the aircraft requires constant vertical thrust to remain airborne. To maintain extremely efficient disk loading, the LEO Solo features 48 ducted electric mini-fans, with 12 in each corner of the motorcycle.

On LEO’s website, they emphasize that the Solo can fly for about 10 to 15 minutes, with a top speed electronically limited to 97 km/h and a maximum altitude limited to 15 feet, using a solid-state battery that can be charged at home.
These next-generation batteries store much more energy per weight than current heavy batteries, offer fast charging, significantly lower fire risk, and longer lifespan.

For now, besides the information already released, the team has not shared further technical specifications or general details about the Solo.
For those who want to secure one, reservations are already open at a price of US$ 999. The Solo is expected to enter production later this year, but it is worth noting that the previously announced timeline by LEO is already delayed.
