The American Army tested the wheeled drone Overland AI ULTRA during the multinational exercise Agile Spirit 25 in Georgia, USA.

According to the US Army press service, the US Armed Forces evaluated several suppliers of autonomous transport platforms during the exercise, aiming to establish future contracts for integrating advanced technologies into combat units.

For Agile Spirit 25, the US Army tested the Overland AI ULTRA, a fully autonomous vehicle with artificial intelligence that was used to transport 60 mm and 120 mm caliber ammunition. Before the exercise, US soldiers received extensive training to operate this platform.

According to the website Militarnyi, the ULTRA is an off-road drone with four-wheel drive and a maximum speed of about 56 km/h. It has the capacity to carry a payload of up to 450 kg, with a range of up to 160 km at an average speed of 32 km/h, depending on terrain conditions.

According to the manufacturer, the platform can be positioned as a relatively inexpensive and consumable resource. In the future, the company plans to adapt the drone for use in medical evacuations and advances in enemy defenses.
