The company appointed Michael Golden, a former Royal Navy engineer, as head of operations in the country, reinforcing its commitment to strategic cooperation in combating cheap and increasingly present drones in conflict zones.
The company’s system, named Sentinel, is designed to operate from the air, detecting and tracking hostile drones in real time. Unlike ground-based solutions, Sentinel is a scalable response aimed at protecting sensitive infrastructure and troops in action. The technology has already been adopted by the German Armed Forces and tested in Project Vanaheim, a joint exercise between the United Kingdom and the United States that seeks new ways to face unmanned aerial threats.

The expansion comes in the context of a new defense pact between the United Kingdom and Germany and reflects growing investor confidence in the sector. Recently, Alpine Eagle received an investment of approximately USD 12 million and plans to open a production, research, and export center in the UK. According to the company’s CEO, the war in Ukraine has accelerated the need for innovative solutions and more agile industrial policies to ensure security on the continent.
