The world’s first flying car is about to hit the market, with a launch expected in early 2026.
Developed by Slovak company Klein Vision, the AirCar is a two-seater vehicle capable of driving on roads and flying, although it still requires a runway for takeoff and landing.
Its design features retractable wings and a tail that extends during flight, reaching a length of about seven meters.
Despite its considerable size — over five meters long and a wingspan of 8.2 meters — the AirCar is designed to switch between ground and air modes. It reaches a cruising speed of 250 km/h, with a range of approximately 1,000 km. The altitude limit is around 3,000 meters, which is enough to cover long distances efficiently.

Certified as an aircraft since 2022, the AirCar represents a milestone in the development of flying vehicles. However, the dream of owning a flying car is still out of reach for most people: the estimated price is US$ 813,700. To operate it, you’ll need not only money but also knowledge of airstrips and, most likely, training to safely pilot the vehicle.
