Blake Morris and Maggie Morton, helicopter pilots for the US Coast Guard, did not hesitate when they saw a helicopter carcass for sale on Facebook.

First, the couple transformed the main part of a decommissioned helicopter they saw on Facebook into a trailer that accommodates a family.
It first went to the German military police, then was bought from there and used in Afghanistan with US troops for a few years, then arrived here around 2011 in the states, said Morris.

According to UPI, the helicopter was previously used by the German military police and the US military. “I asked Maggie and fortunately she supported me a lot. I expected her to say I was crazy, but she said it would be a great idea,” said Morris.

So, the couple documented the entire process of the helicopter on their Instagram account. Therefore, the converted helicopter now has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable camping stay.
