The Ringbrothers, a famous customization shop, transformed a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda into an incredible restomod, named “Infected”.
Under the hood, the true star is the supercharged “Mopar Hellcrate Redeye Hemi” engine, capable of generating an impressive 807 horsepower and 717 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed Tremec manual transmission. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels, ensuring breathtaking performance, typical of classic muscle cars.
The appearance of the Barracuda was also completely revamped, featuring a custom pink paint job that matches black details, such as the hood and side skirts. Modifications include a custom chassis that extended the length of the car by 3.8 cm, while maintaining the classic proportions with subtle changes to the front wheels, fenders, and bumpers.

The suspension features Fox RS SV shock absorbers at both the front and rear, providing a smoother and more controlled ride. To complete the package, the car is mounted on 20-inch and 21-inch wheels, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The interior was also modernized with sophistication, featuring white leather seats, new instruments, climate control, and even a modern sound system with Apple CarPlay connectivity. However, to maintain the classic Mopar style, the Barracuda is also equipped with a Pistol Grip shifter and a performance steering wheel with carbon fiber accents.
With 5,600 hours of work, this Ringbrothers project will be showcased at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week.
