The incident mobilized a large joint operation involving the Police, the Firefighters, and Civil Defense to evacuate the entire industrial plant and a neighboring company. The evacuation was carried out due to the high risk of explosion, as oxygen and nitrogen cylinders were stored on site.

Witnesses reported to local media that, minutes before noon, they saw the aircraft flying “very low” before it collided with part of the roof of a warehouse and then with the ground. Due to the imminent danger, both Air Liquide employees and those from the adjacent paint factory were immediately evacuated.

At the accident site, prosecutor Mariela Oliva from the Agency for Traffic Accidents and Negligent Homicides coordinated the investigation. She ordered the activation of the accident team, the collection of testimonies, and the analysis of security cameras across the area.

Unofficial sources present at the scene reported that the pilot died instantly. The same sources indicated that the pilot was a young man who had been dismissed from Air Liquide about three months ago.

Air Liquide, a multinational company specializing in gases, technologies, and services for industry and healthcare, had to evacuate all its employees due to the risk posed by the stored products. The aircraft had a registration from Aeroclube de Rosario. Besides the pilot, there were no other injuries.
