Harley-Davidson has unveiled the new 2026 Deadwood, a motorcycle that revives the style of the first bobbers built by riders after World War II while incorporating modern safety and performance technologies.
Inspired by motorcycles modified in garages by war veterans, who removed parts considered unnecessary to reduce weight and improve performance, the Deadwood features a Denim Black fuel tank and fenders, black tubeless spoked wheels, a solo seat with classic-style upholstery, and a low-profile tinted windshield.

Harley-Davidson sought to recreate the “raw” appearance of traditional bobbers without sacrificing modern features. The motorcycle is powered by a 1,923 cm³ Milwaukee-Eight 117 Classic V-twin engine capable of producing 98 horsepower and 163 Nm of torque.

The motorcycle uses the Softail chassis and features a monoshock rear suspension hidden beneath the seat, creating an appearance similar to vintage rigid-frame motorcycles while maintaining greater riding comfort.

The Deadwood also features several electronic systems, including cornering ABS, traction control, drag torque control, tire pressure monitoring (TPMS), and three riding modes: Road, Sport, and Rain. The motorcycle also has full LED lighting, a USB-C port, and a connection for heated gear.

With a 5-gallon fuel tank, equivalent to approximately 18.9 liters, a running-order weight of around 311 kg, and a seat height of just 64.8 cm, the Deadwood was designed to offer a low and comfortable riding experience, aimed primarily at riders seeking classic styling without sacrificing the reliability of a modern motorcycle.
The new Harley-Davidson will have a starting price of US$17,999 in the United States and, for now, will only be sold in the North American market. The model will make its public debut during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in August, one of the world’s leading motorcycle events.
