Airstream has unveiled the new World Traveler 17RB, which becomes the trailer manufacturer’s new entry-level model.
With a starting price of US$64,400, it costs around US$4,500 less than the brand’s previous most affordable model, the Bambi.
Measuring 5.2 meters in length, the trailer was designed to be towed by a wide range of vehicles, including SUVs, crossovers, and midsize pickup trucks. The aim is to attract first-time buyers looking for a compact model that is easy to transport.
Despite its compact dimensions, the World Traveler 17RB offers a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a rear bed for two people, and a front living area that can be converted into a sleeping space. The interior also features wooden cabinets, LED lighting, and a multimedia system.
The model can also be equipped with optional features such as an energy system with a lithium battery and solar panels, extending its autonomy for trips away from traditional campgrounds. According to Airstream, the World Traveler was developed to combine the brand’s classic design with a more affordable and practical option for first-time campers.
Airstream has already begun production of the new trailer in the United States and expects to make the first deliveries later this year. The version intended for other markets is expected to enter production in the second half of 2026.
