British company McMurtry Automotive has unveiled the production version of the Spéirling Pure, a track-only electric hypercar that promises performance comparable to that of a Formula 1 car.

Equipped with two electric motors delivering around 1,000 hp to the rear wheels, the Spéirling Pure accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.55 seconds and reaches a top speed of approximately 306 km/h.

The model retains the innovative fan system that generates up to 2,000 kg of downforce even when the vehicle is stationary, allowing for extreme levels of grip.

The 100 kWh battery provides enough range to complete between 40 and 50 kilometers at racing pace before needing to be recharged.

According to the manufacturer, the production version received 95% new components compared with the prototypes that broke records at circuits such as Goodwood and the Top Gear Test Track.

Among the changes are a new carbon-fiber monocoque, a longer wheelbase, and improvements to cooling, regenerative braking, and cockpit ergonomics.

McMurtry will produce only 100 units of the Spéirling Pure. Each example will have a starting price of £995,000, or about US$1.3 million, and the first customers will receive their cars later in 2026. The model will make its public debut during the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
