Jeep has unveiled the new Wrangler Sarge and Gladiator Sarge 2027, special editions developed to honor the brand’s military heritage.

According to Car and Driver, the models are part of the commemorative Twelve 4 Twelve series and were inspired by the legendary 1941 Willys MB, the vehicle used by the United States Armed Forces during World War II.

The updates are primarily visual and do not include any mechanical changes compared to the versions on which they are based. The models use the Willys and Rubicon trims as their starting point and receive a range of exclusive elements, including the ’41 Green paint color, which references the classic military shade of the earliest Jeep vehicles.

Depending on the configuration, the vehicle may also feature a white front grille, a white hardtop, stylized stars on the sides, and “1941” decals on the hood.

Other exclusive details include bronze tow hooks, 17-inch wheels painted in military green, 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 off-road tires, and reinforced side protection. In the case of the Gladiator, Jeep highlights that the special edition retains the pickup’s characteristic payload and towing capabilities.

The interior also received special attention. The cabin combines Drab Green and Cattle Tan trim colors, seats upholstered in Soul Cloth, and gold stitching. Several themed details are also scattered throughout the vehicle, including a “1941” plaque near the cupholders, a star-shaped medallion on the gear shifter, and exclusive badges inspired by the brand’s history.

Despite their strong historical appeal, Jeep says the models retain all the technology features and off-road capabilities of the current Wrangler and Gladiator. According to the automaker, the goal is to celebrate the brand’s origins without sacrificing the usability and refinement expected by modern consumers.
