German company Quantum Systems is set to expand its presence in the unmanned aerial vehicle market with the launch of the Pulse P19, its first MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) drone.
The model will be officially unveiled during ILA Berlin 2026 and represents an important step for the company, which until now has focused primarily on tactical reconnaissance drones.
Designed to perform multiple roles, the Pulse P19 will be capable of carrying out surveillance, reconnaissance, and strike missions. In addition, the new platform will be able to integrate weapon systems, marking the German manufacturer’s entry into the segment of larger combat drones with extended operational range.
According to Quantum Systems, the development of the new system was influenced by lessons learned from the use of drones in the conflict in Ukraine. The company also highlights advances in software and the integration of unmanned systems through the MOSAIC UxS ecosystem, which enables different platforms to be connected within a unified command-and-control network.
The launch of the Pulse P19 comes at a time of expansion for the company, which has been strengthening its presence in the European defense sector. In addition to increasing its production capacity, Quantum Systems has also announced new industrial partnerships between Germany and Ukraine focused on the manufacture of drones and air defense systems.
