Ukraine has introduced the Granite, a new heavy drone developed for combat, reconnaissance, and battlefield supply transport missions.
The model was unveiled by companies GLEFA and Culver Aerospace during the Wild Drones event, drawing attention for its ability to carry ammunition and equipment over long distances.
The hexacopter was designed primarily for nighttime operations against vehicles and military positions. Equipped with a release system for six munitions, the drone can deploy different types of weaponry, including explosive, incendiary, fragmentation, and anti-armor projectiles.
In addition to its offensive functions, the Granite also plays an important logistical role. According to the developers, the aircraft can transport up to 40 kg of supplies to Ukrainian troops in hard-to-reach areas, covering distances of up to 10 kilometers during missions.
With a maximum weight of 80 kg, endurance of up to 55 minutes, and speeds reaching 72 km/h, the drone can also fly at altitudes of up to 500 meters and travel up to 55 km in a single trip. During the event, the companies also presented the Behemoth, a long-range drone inspired by the Shahed model and capable of striking targets hundreds of kilometers away.
