A woman was furious after the screens in her Mercedes-Benz suddenly went black while she was driving, preventing her from seeing the instrument panel and infotainment display.

The case was reported by April Lynn, who posted a video on her TikTok profile to explain what had happened, also using the opportunity to warn potential Mercedes owners to avoid buying the manufacturer’s vehicles.

“Don’t buy a Mercedes-Benz. Currently driving, nothing is working. I turned it off, turned it back on, locked it, unlocked it, came back and still nothing. I’m driving, but I have no idea how fast I’m going. Um, yeah, so this is great. A 2025 car with 25,000 km. Don’t buy this piece of junk,” she said in the clip.

Lynn’s video has already accumulated more than 70,000 views, more than 2,000 likes and several comments from internet users reacting to the unusual problem in the luxury car. “I hate when beautiful cars have the worst engineering,” one TikTok user said.

“This is like the 25th video I’ve seen of a Mercedes doing this… And some of them are new. Mercedes quality has clearly gone downhill,” another commented. “Don’t worry, I won’t [buy one]… only Toyota and Honda,” a third internet user said.

@aprillynn1106 Do not recommend Mercedes-Benz @Mercedes-Benz had nothing but trouble out of this car since I’ve had it and I’ve only had it since November 2025. Then I get in it this morning and this happened no matter what I do. I can’t get either one of my screens to come on and the nearest service for a Mercedes for me is an hour and a half away, so this is just great. I will never buy another one. #mercedesbenz #Mercedes ♬ original sound – 🖤🌸April Lynn🖤KY🌸🖤
