A 58-year-old man died after the car he was driving plunged from a cliff of approximately 150 meters and landed on a beach in California.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving a black 2017 Honda Pilot when the vehicle left the roadway on the west side of the highway, struck an emergency call box, crossed through vegetation and went over the cliff onto the beach below.
