Škoda has unveiled a special edition of the Fabia inspired by the world of rally racing to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Škoda Motorsport. The model will be limited to just 125 units and arrives as the fastest production Fabia ever made by the brand.
Škoda decided to celebrate the 125th anniversary of its motorsport division with a very special version of the Fabia. Named the Škoda Fabia Motorsport Edition, the new model is based on the Fabia 130 and combines rally car styling, a more powerful engine, and a strong sense of exclusivity for collectors.

The series will be limited to only 125 units, each featuring a numbered plaque on the dashboard. In other words, besides being a sporty hatchback for daily driving, the model is also designed as a rare collector’s item for fans of the brand and motorsport enthusiasts.
On the outside, the Fabia Motorsport Edition features a striking combination. The body comes exclusively in Moon White metallic paint with a black roof and pillars. The look also includes darkened front and rear spoilers, a black diffuser, bi-LED headlights with dark inner details, and decals inspired by the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, the car used by the brand in competition.

The 18-inch Libra alloy wheels with a smoked finish help reinforce the sporty appearance. Lowered suspension and dual exhaust outlets complete the package, giving the compact hatch a more aggressive stance without making it impractical for everyday use.
Inside, the racing atmosphere continues. The interior features black trim, front sport seats with integrated headrests, and carbon fiber-style details on the dashboard and seats. The three-spoke sport steering wheel, floor mats, and custom door sills also carry references to Škoda Motorsport.

At the heart of the special edition is a recalibrated 1.5 TSI evo2 engine producing 130 kW, equivalent to around 177 hp. According to the brand, components such as the intake manifold, vibration damper, and rocker arms were modified to allow the power increase compared to the standard 110 kW 1.5 TSI engine.
Maximum torque is 250 Nm, available between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm. The seven-speed DSG automatic transmission has also been updated, including higher-rpm gear shifts, quicker downshifts in Sport mode, and revised logic for faster acceleration responses.
In practice, the goal is to deliver a Fabia that is sharper and more fun while maintaining the rational side that has always defined the hatchback. It is a rally-inspired car still designed to handle streets, highways, and long trips without drama.
Škoda also prepared a special experience for buyers. Each owner will receive a premium gift box containing a certificate of authenticity signed by members of the Škoda Auto Board of Directors, a Fabia 125-branded case, driving gloves, and a particularly curious item: a piece of the safety structure from a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
This detail strengthens the direct connection between the special edition and the brand’s rally program. Since 2015, Fabia-based cars have become some of the most successful models in the Rally2 category, with more than 750 units sold to customer teams, six WRC2 driver titles, and several continental and national victories.
With the Fabia Motorsport Edition, Škoda aims to turn its racing heritage into a road-going product. The result is a compact hatchback with a special character, limited production, and a formula likely to appeal to fans of sports cars with true racing pedigree.
