A woman who “lost” her car’s sunroof decided to review security camera footage from the establishment where she was to find out what had happened to the part.

The case was shared by content creator Meg, who posted a video on her TikTok profile explaining that she had parked at an establishment and, when she returned to the vehicle, noticed that the car’s sunroof had disappeared.

Worried that it had been stolen, Meg decided to take a look at the location’s security camera footage. To her surprise, she ended up discovering that the piece had simply flown off. “Kia America, explain yourself,” she wrote in the caption.

The clip, which has already received more than 1 million views, unlocked a new fear among internet users. “You stopped paying your sunroof subscription, didn’t you?” joked one TikTok user in the comments section. “It’s a Kia. Of course it’s going to find a strange way to break,” said another.

“As an auto damage appraiser, I genuinely wouldn’t have believed it either without the video, because what do you mean it just came off like that? It’s not supposed to do that. That is absolutely crazy and definitely the first [time I’ve seen this],” said a third internet user.
