Newly released documents from the Pentagon have revealed an alleged unusual encounter involving a United States military aircraft during a nighttime mission in a mountainous region near a government facility.
The case occurred last year and is part of a series of files related to unidentified aerial phenomena.
According to the report, military personnel initially spotted an object described as a possible aircraft moving away on the horizon. Shortly afterward, teams confirmed the presence of a sphere considered “super-hot,” which was hovering near the ground before rapidly accelerating eastward.
The document also states that the object allegedly split into two parts during the pursuit. One of the aircraft involved was unable to keep up with the recorded speed, while the co-pilot reported seeing another element emerge from the observed objects and move in a different direction at high speed, using night-vision equipment.
Minutes later, the military said they saw several orange luminous spheres, with white or yellowish centers, apparently remaining still in the sky before gradually disappearing. The episode is part of a package of 162 files released by the U.S. government on an official portal dedicated exclusively to UFO investigations.
