The 422nd Unmanned Systems Regiment has intensified its operations against Russian targets in occupied territories, striking a tugboat and a cargo ship reportedly used in irregular maritime operations.
The attack took place at a port whose location was not disclosed, and footage of the operation was shared on the unit’s social media channels.
According to the military report, the cargo ship was damaged, while the tugboat was completely destroyed, halting all loading activities at the site. The forces involved did not provide details about the planning of the operation or the exact location where the targets were identified.
In addition to this offensive, the regiment also carried out strikes against Russian military systems, including a Tornado-S multiple rocket launcher in the Zaporizhzhia region. The system, capable of hitting targets up to 120 kilometers away, was located and attacked with drone support.
The recent operations are part of a series of actions conducted throughout March and early April, when the 422nd Regiment also struck locomotives used to transport troops and ammunition. Among the destroyed targets were also two launchers of the Buk-M1 air defense system, highlighting the impact of the offensives on Russian military infrastructure.
