According to Ukraine’s SBS, an operation coordinated by the new Deep Strike Center hit launchers, air defense, fuel depots, electronic warfare structures, and communication nodes in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia.

Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, known as SBS, said they carried out a new series of attacks against Russian targets in temporarily occupied territories, focusing on air defense systems, logistics depots, communications infrastructure, and military support points.

According to SBS commander Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, the operation was conducted by different units specialized in drone warfare and other unmanned means, under coordination of the newly created Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

According to the account released by Ukrainian sources, one of the main targets was Donetsk airport, where mobile launch platforms associated with Shahed-type drones were reportedly located and destroyed during the night of March 28. The action was attributed to the 1st SBS squadron.

The Ukrainian command also stated that it struck two Tor-family air defense systems in different sectors of the front.

In the occupied Luhansk region, pilots from the 9th Kairos Battalion of the 414th SBS unit reportedly destroyed a Tor-M2 system. In the occupied Zaporizhzhia region, the 413th Raid squadron reportedly shot down and hit a Tor-M1 system.

Beyond air defense, the operation targeted the Russian logistical rear. In occupied areas of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, Kairos Battalion units reported the destruction of a warehouse containing electronic countermeasures, explosives, and a workshop linked to electronic warfare.

Near Aidar, also in the Luhansk region, another strike reportedly hit a military fuel depot.

In Mangush, in the Donetsk region, the 1st SBS squadron reportedly destroyed a fuel warehouse and a refueling point, as well as towers and communication nodes used by Russian forces.

According to Ukrainian sources, these targets were considered important for sustaining coordination and logistical flow in the occupied areas.

The report also mentions the destruction of a 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery piece during missions to search for Russian air defense systems. The 122 mm system continues to be widely used for indirect fire support on the battlefield.

The offensive described by SBS reinforces Ukraine’s strategy of using drones to strike high-value targets beyond the front line, especially air defense, logistics, electronic warfare, and communications assets. So far, there has been no independent confirmation of the extent of the damage reported by Ukrainian authorities.
