Ukraine’s Pegasus Arms and Germany’s Rohde & Schwarz have signed an agreement for the joint development of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) drones and electronic support systems.
According to the companies, the partnership will combine Pegasus Arms drone platforms with Rohde & Schwarz electronic technologies to expand the operational capabilities of unmanned systems used in combat.
The focus includes airborne reconnaissance and electronic support functions designed to identify threats before engagement. Initial stages include joint development and testing of a proof of concept, pilot system configuration, and validation of the resulting solutions.
Cooperation with Rohde & Schwarz is expected to extend the operational role of Pegasus drones beyond attack and logistics missions. By integrating advanced detection and electronic support capabilities, the platforms may be able to carry out reconnaissance tasks and contribute to situational awareness.
“The integration of Rohde & Schwarz world-class solutions opens up entirely new possibilities for our unmanned systems,” said Illia Samoshkin, director of Pegasus Arms.
“Equipping them with advanced Rohde & Schwarz systems will expand the capabilities of our drones. For example, the Pegasus Arms 25 will now not only carry payload from point A to point B, but will also gain new functions that will become an unpleasant surprise for the enemy.”
