Classic cars driven by the iconic characters of the “Fast & Furious” franchise are used in the new themed roller coaster based on the films. The attraction is located at the Universal theme park on the outskirts of Los Angeles.

Called Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, the attraction allows fans to ride in Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger, Han Seoul-oh’s Toyota Supra, and Brian O’Connor’s Nissan Skyline GT-R.

Han Lue’s Mazda RX-7 is also confirmed as part of the attraction.

The cars function almost like replicas from the films, with details designed to bring the legendary vehicles to life.

The roller coaster measures approximately 1,249 km and reaches speeds of up to 119 km/h, featuring a new 360-degree technology designed to recreate the sensation of drifting a car.

“Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” is scheduled to open later this year at Universal Studios Hollywood, while Universal Orlando Resort is building its own version.

Universal Pictures recently announced that it is producing the 12th film in the action franchise, titled “Fast Forever”, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 17, 2028.
