Davaro, an Armenian defense systems company, demonstrated new unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that visually resemble the Israeli Harop drones.
According to the Ukrainian outlet Militarnyi, the presentation took place against the backdrop of international media publications questioning the origin of the company’s technological solutions, and was published on Davaro’s official pages.
In its presentation, Davaro denied allegations that it had used third-party developments, stating that it has its own engineering base and local technologies. The company emphasized that similarities in design schemes are typical of modern aviation systems.
According to materials presented by Davaro, the product line includes several UAV modifications. The DragonFly 3 version is equipped with an internal combustion engine, providing longer flight endurance, while the DragonFly 3.1 uses an electric powerplant designed to reduce noise and thermal signature.
The company positioned its developments as a way to boost technological independence in Armenia’s defense sector. According to Davaro, programs to modernize and expand production are already underway.
