Bentley has just unveiled its latest addition to the Continental family, the new Continental GT S, which features a more powerful hybrid setup.

The new Bentley Continental GT S comes with a 4.0-liter V8 hybrid engine under the hood, producing 670 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque. As a result, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, while its top speed is 306 km/h.

The car is also capable of completely shutting off the combustion engine and gliding in fully electric mode for up to 50 kilometers. This is also the first time Bentley has equipped the Continental GT S with rear-wheel steering.

On the outside, Bentley appears to have made an effort to differentiate the new S from other Continental GT models. The exterior details are finished in black, complemented by darkened headlights and taillights, as well as dark exhaust tips. As an option, you can also swap the standard two-tone wheels for a fully black set.

Bentley did not share many images of the car’s interior, but we already know that the S version features a two-tone upholstery that is not available on other Continental models.

In addition, it appears that the dark exterior theme continues inside with glossy black details. As an option, Bentley can apply a dark-tinted chrome finish to the bright metal trim pieces.
