According to Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence Directorate, the explosion damaged a KAMAZ truck used to transport personnel, causing a fire in the vehicle. Ukrainian intelligence stated that Russian military personnel were killed and injured, although no official figures were released.
The DIU also stated that the 47th Missile Brigade is directly involved in missile attacks against Ukraine. The episode occurred weeks after another explosion recorded in Berdyansk, in the Zaporizhzhia region, which resulted in the deaths of five members of the Rosgvardia and left four others seriously injured.
