If you’ve always dreamed of having an off-road car at an affordable price, your search is over. Kuhl, a Japanese aftermarket company, has just unveiled the Toyota GR86 Outroad to fulfill that dream.
This is not the first time the Toyota GR86 has received an all-terrain version. Last year, the Japanese manufacturer presented the GR86 Rally Legacy concept at SEMA. But while the concept never left the drawing board, Kuhl has come to make this dream a reality.

The basic Kuhl Outroad version of the Toyota GR86 features a custom coilover suspension system that raises the vehicle by 7.62 cm compared to the original version, while a hydraulic lift that allows an additional 3.81 cm of lift is available as an option.
The basic kit also includes a series of other modifications, such as front bumper and spoiler, side steps, a new rear bumper, rear lower spoiler, and 25 mm wider fender flares.

The Kuhl Toyota GR86 Outroad will be officially unveiled at the 2026 Tokyo Motor Show in January, with a starting price of around US$26,500. This price includes paint, installation of parts, and taxes.
Among the options, the $8,000 turbo kit stands out, which includes ECU remapping, an oil cooler, and an oil pan, resulting in a declared power output of 290 hp compared to the original 228 hp.

Other options include 18-inch forged wheels, upgraded brakes, roof racks, rear spoiler, among others. However, it is worth emphasizing that Kuhl has not indicated that the vehicle will be available in markets outside Japan.
