The Ronin Battalion of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade of Ukraine located and destroyed a hangar housing five Russian armored vehicles during an operation in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
The action was recorded on video and shared by the unit itself on its official Telegram channel.
According to the footage, the discovery occurred during a reconnaissance mission carried out by an optical fiber cable drone, which identified tanks and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles hidden inside the structure.
The armored vehicles were protected by anti-tank metal barriers and several electronic warfare systems, indicating an attempt to reinforce the site’s defense.
After confirming the target, the battalion launched at least seven FPV drones, setting the hangar on fire and rendering the vehicles inoperable. The initial damage assessment was made by a reconnaissance drone, but the full extent of the destruction is still being analyzed by Ukrainian forces.
