A man who bought a car with a huge hole in the floor through Facebook Marketplace surprised internet users by showing part of his journey back home.
Jaden O’Hara posted a clip on his Facebook profile to share that he had purchased a Chevrolet Impala on the platform and was on his way to take it back home.
In the video, Jaden appears singing while recording the road, and at first, everything seems fine. That is until he turns the camera to the floor just below the driver’s seat, where a huge hole allowed him to see the road underneath him.
“When the Marketplace find hits, and you think you can drive the […] back home,” Jaden wrote in the caption over the clip, which has already garnered over 1 million views.
“I’ve been there. I drove one 5 hours before,” commented one Facebook user. “It’s there so, in case your brakes fail, you can apply the Flintstones brakes,” joked another. “Bro, you’re one hole away from falling through the floor,” said a third internet user.
It’s unclear whether the clip was made purely as a joke or if it was a true account. Either way, it’s important to emphasize that holes this large in the floor, like the one recorded by Jaden, should be addressed immediately, as they pose serious safety risks.
