The Niu Tech, a Chinese electric scooter company, has just announced the NIUMM, its new ultra-compact electric car with only two seats.
The model was presented at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. Designed for urban mobility, the car has a range of 70 km with two batteries, but the NIUMM can make longer trips with four units.

Even though it is compact and affordable, it does not fall short on features. According to the company, the NIUMM has a 26-liter front trunk and a digital instrument panel, in addition to some optional features such as air conditioning and a sunroof.
The panel also includes USB charging and a phone holder. Furthermore, the vehicle can be paired with a complementary mobile app that offers real-time GPS, anti-theft alerts, and control.

Due to its size, the NIUMM is classified as an L6e quadricycle, with a 10 kW motor and a top speed of 45 km/h. The vehicle features four 12-inch wheels, a short hood, and LED strip headlights for better visibility.
The NIUMM promises to be affordable, easy to park, and a practical alternative to conventional cars, especially for young people, the elderly, and residents of large cities. While the price has not yet been revealed, it is expected to be priced below $10,000.
