Tesla has announced another recall of its electric pickup, the Cybertruck, after an internal review found a flaw in one of the vehicle’s software systems.

The recall, affecting over 63,000 Cybertruck units, was announced last Thursday (23rd). This is already the ninth recall by Tesla specifically for the electric pickup.

The newest issue was identified during an internal review, according to Reuters. In photometric tests, Tesla found that the truck’s front headlights were set too high.

Although no accidents related to this issue have been reported, the excessive brightness of the Cybertruck lights could impair the vision of other drivers on the road.

During the review, a flaw was identified in one of the Cybertruck software systems. The new recall aims to provide a free software update for owners of 63,619 Cybertrucks produced between November 13, 2023, and October 11, 2025.

The Cybertruck was officially launched by Tesla in 2023. Despite high expectations from Elon Musk for the model, the constant recalls have hurt the vehicle’s reputation, and sales have fallen far below projections.
