The Ukrainian Defense Forces combined the reconnaissance drone Vector with the loitering munition Stark Virtus in an operation in the Zaporizhzhia region, successfully destroying an enemy target with precision.

The Vector identified the target and transmitted the exact coordinates, allowing the Virtus to carry out an effective strike.

The strike marked the first combat action of the Virtus. In previous tests conducted in July 2025 in Ukraine, the drone successfully hit training targets from a distance of 40 km using a relay system. The munition has a flight range of up to 100 km and carries a 5 kg warhead.

According to developers, the Virtus reaches a cruising speed of 120 km/h, able to accelerate up to 250 km/h in dives, and is capable of striking both static and moving targets. Unlike the Russian Lancet drone, the Virtus takes off vertically, requiring no catapult, and uses artificial intelligence to quickly react to changes in the environment and engage targets more efficiently.
