The Belarusian company KB Displays has developed a combat module for the mobile anti-drone Rat system used by the Russians.

The equipment, showcased for the first time at the Army-2023 fair, only recently had its origins revealed. It comes in two versions: one equipped with a 30 mm cannon and another with a laser system for target destruction.

According to brochures released by the company in August 2025, the module, called ADUNOK-BM30, is based on the Soviet automatic cannon 2A42, used on armored vehicles and attack helicopters. The cannon version promises to neutralize drones and low-altitude, slow-moving aerial targets, with a range of up to 4 km, thanks to a system controlling projectile detonation.

Despite the announced advancements, the system’s real capability remains uncertain. The remotely-fuzed ammunition was expected to be ready by spring 2024, but so far no public tests have been shown. As such, the effectiveness of the Belarusian module in countering drones is not yet confirmed.
