To celebrate 40 years of the company in the personal watercraft (PWC) business, Yamaha has launched a special edition for fishing enthusiasts.

The WaveRunner CrossWave features a full wrap-around deck, allowing the angler to walk around the PWC for access to various ideal fishing angles.

According to Yamaha, it also includes “wide footrests for a secure stance and an inviting platform to load gear, fish, or simply stretch out under the sun.”

It also “puts ease of boarding first, removing typical limitations and opening the door to freshwater experiences,” according to the company.

The 4-meter, four-seat PWC is powered by an inline four-cylinder engine that produces about 200 hp. According to Yamaha, this makes its engine the largest displacement among all watercraft on the market.

Its fuel tank has a capacity of 106 liters, allowing the rider to spend the entire day on the water without worrying about stopping to refuel.

It also offers 325 liters of storage space to hold all the equipment needed for use at sea, not to mention the cooler, which is already included in the price.

The CrossWave comes equipped with a 7-inch Dual Connect display and Simrad, in addition to being “pre-wired for a Group 24 deep-cycle marine battery for reliable, long-lasting power,” allowing you to operate all your electronics with the battery without fear of running out.

Yamaha also highlighted that the company solved a maintenance issue many complain about in their jet skis: a factory-installed cleaning port that allows debris to be cleared from the impeller without getting into the water.

The new Yamaha WaveRunner CrossWave is expected to arrive at dealerships in the spring of 2026, but so far, the company has not released the price of the new PWC. However, considering all its features, don’t expect it to be cheap.
