The automaker hasn’t made an official announcement, but the change appears to have already been implemented in several countries across the continent.
According to the website Mashable, the vehicles are no longer available to order on Tesla’s websites in Italy, Germany, France, Spain, and Croatia. In those countries, only in-stock units are available for purchase.
But this isn’t the end of Tesla in Europe: pre-configured Model X and S vehicles are still available. Additionally, Tesla’s Model 3 and Model Y can still be configured and ordered in those markets.
This change comes as Tesla is experiencing a sharp decline in sales. However, it remains unclear whether this is just a temporary measure. According to Electrek, Tesla had already stopped accepting orders for these models back in 2022.
