During a month of fighting in the Kharkiv region, the 3rd Independent Assault Brigade of Ukraine shot down 89 enemy drones.
The brigade’s press service reported that the invaders were using these aircraft to adjust artillery attacks and locate Ukrainian targets, but they were neutralized in the air.
Among the downed drones were models such as Lancet, Molniya-1 and 2, Supercam, Skat 350M, Zala, Orlan, and the Shahed-136 kamikaze drone.
Additionally, interception of targets was carried out with unidentified anti-aircraft drones. On another front, pilots from the “Madyar’s Birds” brigade shot down 33 enemy drones in just four days in the Kursk-Belgorod direction, including Zala 421, Supercam S350 models, and a rare Merlin-BP.
The brigade commander emphasized that a batch of 100 drones used in this defense cost about $6,000 per unit. This specific model is not yet part of the official Ukrainian arsenal.
