“Previously proven effective against kamikaze drones with fixed and rotary wings, the GÖKBERK has now demonstrated its advanced capabilities by autonomously detecting, tracking, and eliminating FPV drones across various testing scenarios, showing exceptional speed and accuracy.”
Tests revealed that the laser system could destroy small quadcopter-type drones at a range of 1,500 meters and fixed-wing drones at 1,200 meters. Additionally, it demonstrated the capability to melt a 6 mm steel plate at a distance of 600 meters.
The GÖKBERK can also disable improvised explosive devices and integrates the IHTAR electronic warfare system. It includes radar, an electro-optical station with thermal imaging, and AI-based target recognition for detection.
