Mercedes-Benz has announced the creation of “Mercedes-AMG World of Performance,” a theme park dedicated to car and motorsport fans, which will be built in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia, in partnership with the Formula 1 team and Qiddiya Investment Company.
The park, following the model of similar initiatives by Ferrari in Abu Dhabi, will cover about 45,000 square meters and offer immersive experiences focused on Mercedes-AMG and the world champion Formula 1 team.
With nine floors, the park will be located next to the Speed Park Track, a new circuit designed by Hermann Tilke, expected to be completed in 2027. The Speed Park Track, which will host a Formula 1 event in 2028, will feature a 70-meter elevation curve.
Among the attractions are a “dark ride” featuring iconic race cars and an experience simulating the acceleration of a professional driver.
Additionally, the Mercedes-AMG World of Performance will feature over 60 simulators, a 4D Motion simulator theater, a VIP lounge overlooking the track, and a sophisticated dining experience.
The park’s opening is expected by the end of the decade, with more updates to be revealed in the coming months.
