Kennedy Littledike, then 16 years old, was driving with friends when the car went off the road, resulting in a series of devastating events.
Despite being thrown away from the vehicle and getting trapped on the power line, this position ultimately saved her life by preventing her from bleeding to death. For an agonizing hour, Littledike awaited rescue while stuck in the wiring.
Kennedy’s leg got caught on the line, and rescuers’ efforts to free her were painful and traumatic. After being taken to the hospital, the young woman underwent a series of surgeries to deal with her severe injuries, including multiple leg amputations due to extensive damage.
