The Federal Police of Santa Catarina, Brazil, turned a Porsche 911 Turbo into a patrol vehicle after a court order.

The luxury car, valued at approximately $262,600, was wrapped with the PF identity and displayed at the inauguration of the Immigration Delegation (Delemig) in Florianópolis, a city in southern Brazil. The vehicle, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds, was seized in an operation against money laundering and drug trafficking.

Despite its high performance, the Porsche will only be used in educational campaigns to raise awareness about fighting organized crime and seizing criminals’ assets. There are no plans for further public appearances of the vehicle, which will remain in custody of the Federal Police’s Regional Superintendency until the court decides its final fate, potentially being auctioned off in the future.

The car was confiscated during Operation Toppare, carried out in June 2024. At that time, a 43-year-old Italian, wanted by Interpol, was arrested for involvement in money laundering and transnational drug trafficking. In addition to the Porsche, assets worth over $6.1 million were blocked.
